Spell Gore
SPELLGORE: The Endless Descent is a retro raycasted FPS-RPG — classic 90s shooter guts, full wizard heart. You are the last battle-wizard of the Violet Order, and the only way out is down.
BLAST your way through skeletons, cultists, wraiths, and grave golems with four distinct spells — the dependable Arcane Bolt, the room-clearing Fireball, the projectile-shattering Frost Nova, and Chain Lightning that arcs between your enemies. Learn what burns, what freezes, and what just gets angry.
DESCEND through endless procedurally generated floors — stone halls, sunken wells, blood depths, violet catacombs — each ending in a named boss. Every 10th floor holds a Lord: the Skeleton Lord, Mother Vesk, the Wraith King, the Golem Colossus. Slay one and you’ll get its story… and its followers will never be the same again. Literally. Look closely.
GROW from a wizard in a tattered robe into something the dungeon has nightmares about. Level-up boons, robes from Apprentice to the Robe of the Void, potion bottles, gold, loot, and side quests from two retired rival professors who hate each other slightly more than they hate the monsters. Greebo the goblin merchant will sell you what you need and insult you for free.
SURVIVE to floor 50 and face the Final Test — five trials, one throne at the bottom, and a reward very few will ever see. The game remembers every one of your deaths. At the end, so will you.
Three ways to play: Kid Mode (barely a scratch), Normal (death sends you back to the floor’s start), and Hardcore (death is the end — for record chasers).
Playable in your browser. Built for phones — hold it sideways, move with the stick, swipe to look, tap to cast. Full keyboard + mouse on desktop. Auto-saves your run.
